Privacy Notice

MATpulse is committed to protecting your privacy. This notice explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

What we collect

Email addresses. If you register interest in upcoming features (such as data exports), we collect your email address and the page you registered from. This is stored securely in our database and used solely to notify you when the feature becomes available.

No tracking or analytics cookies. MATpulse does not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook pixels, or any third-party tracking tools.

Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect standard server access logs (IP addresses, request timestamps, page URLs) as part of normal web hosting operations. These are not used by MATpulse for any purpose and are subject to Vercel's privacy policy.

Legal basis

We process your email address under legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) — specifically, our interest in understanding demand for planned features and notifying users who have explicitly requested to be informed. You can withdraw at any time by contacting us.

How we store your data

Email addresses are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase (AWS eu-west-2, London region). Access is restricted to the MATpulse team. We do not share, sell, or transfer your email address to any third party.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@matpulse.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.

School and trust data

All school and trust data displayed on MATpulse is public sector information published under the Open Government Licence v3.0. It does not contain personal data about individual pupils, parents, or staff. Data about named trust directors and officers is sourced from the Companies House public register.

We may update this notice as MATpulse develops. Material changes will be noted on this page. Last updated: March 2026.
